Fireworks smuggling into maine?

What are the chances of me getting caught bringing fireworks into maine from new hampshier? I will have either two other guys in the car and be driving a 1993 jeep or have one guy and a girl in the car and be driving a 2004 kia. The kia has a NH college sticker on it and the girl will be driving if we take that vehicle up. Should I wait till after the 4th to get them? I'm going tomorow (monday) if I go before the 4th of july.
