Spitz dog quesion?

I have 2 dogs...one being an American Eskimo and the other being a Pomeranian/Japanese Spitz. They are both the Spitz famliy. My American Eskimo is a spayed female and the other is a male. American Eskimos are very easy to train, adapt to anything and same with Pomeranians. Exercise is a walk and running around backyards. Yes, they require alot of grooming to keep the shedding at a minimum. I shave the both of mine in the summer months...but you have to keep them out of direct sunlight for extended periods because their skin is very light and prone to problems directly from the sun. Also a well balanced diet is improtant to these breeds...not commercial food bought in a grocery store. All dogs can be "yappy" it all depends on how you train them and socialize them. American Eskimos come in 3 sizes...miniature, toy, standard. Mine is a 23 lb standard, my Pom/Spitz is 18 lbs. Whichever you decide, they are both great breeds, and have a great willingness to learn and please.
