Why is it such a big deal if a guy hits a girl?

I mean damn, I am a girl myself and I would freak if a boy just randomly hit me. But what about those crazy *** girls that go up to a boy and slap his face or some crazy things like that? I mean come on, if I was a guy and a girl slapped my face I would give her a few chances to leave me alone but if she kept on I'd let her have a taste of her own medicine. It's crazy really. If we wanted to vote and be "equal" than why make it such a big deal if a girl is hit. I mean yeah it's definately not good but neither is fighting in general eh? Don't get pissy, just give me your opinions....
